  Came here from out of town, and we were blown away with how great this was. Really reasonable prices for really tasty food! Our waiter Mitchell was very welcoming and helpful.

  Decent steak House. Steak was cooked perfectly. Might be a little pricey for some. Excellent salad bar. Friendly staff. Simple, affordable lunch menu.

  Loved the broccoli salad on the salad bar. Did not care for the hokey behavior I observed from the waitresses. They have obviously been coached by management. I kept thinking, "This is Shepherdsville. Where are they supposed to be pretending that we are?" At a place called Cattleman's, what is wrong with a Kentucky ambience? Some of us have grandfathers who were Ky. Cattlemen. Ky. is not the Deep South and it is not the Southwest and it was only considered the West in the 1700s. Get real. If you want to convince me that I am somewhere else, you are going to have to really bring it, like TX Roadhouse does for instance. Also steak no good. Try harder. Broccoli salad, delish as it is, is not enough to carry you.
